Blocking pathways for Covid-19 to travel...kinda like redirecting traffic amirite?!

They aren't working for tRump, so I rather they take their time to get it right. Besides, I'm sure he's not happy about this: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html

I couldn’t think of anything worth writing today so I went and saw a newer Renault in the US. Got lucky there.
Lets hope this works better than drinking bleach.

I believe it works better as an IV drip of bleach.

A ‘holy shit’ article I found there:

I’m hoping that the huge amount of research dedicated to covid will reap rewards in other areas. Maybe this will prove to be a defense for all viruses? Virii?

While not useful for Covid-19, for the love of Pete, don't tell James Cameron.

Progress is exciting, but these types of discoveries are usually years away from clinical trials. Even at “Warp Speed” it will take months to identify and test candidate drugs, 6 months minimum for a clinical trial......
Meanwhile, instead of waiting on a billion dollar vaccine or drug that has 50-80% efficacy, everybody could just wear a damn mask, which has 50-80% efficacy at reducing transmission and costs considerably less, with fewer side effects.
There will be secondary benefits from the research going in to this, and I think we’ll have a renewed focus on preparing for the inevitable next one. It would have helped if we had used our previous preparations for this one, but that doesn’t make for good Twitter fodder.
Speaking of Twitter, the Cheetoh in Chief looks puffy, I bet he’s still on steroids and that’s why he feels so good.

I think the headline is misleading. As I read this article , they may have developed a means to prevent the covid induced cascading immune damage that results in severe ill ness and death. I don’t believe the article suggests this is a way to prevent the spread in the body. What it is saying thet they may have found a way to s ignificantly mitigate adverse immune responses that cause severe damage.
So maybe with this, covid becomes a bad cold and not a trip to the ICU. If so I would be very OK with that .

Wow, good point.
Unexpected benefits instead of unexpected consequences? That’d be nice...
